Qualifying for the program and to receive benefits you must be a Wyoming state resident, permanent resident, legal alien, U.S. national, citizen that needs health care insurance assistance and who has a low or very low income. You also have to be either blind or pregnant or have a disability or have a family member in the household with a disability or be the one responsible for children that are under the age of 19, or be 65 years old or older.
The Wyoming’s Children’s Health Insurance Program “Kid Care” provides medical assistance for children age 19 and younger. This is a free or low-cost health insurance plan.
